Die aus Brüssel stammende Ghalia Volt lebt und tourt seit vielen Jahren in den USA und hat wie kaum eine andere europäische Künstlerin den ursprünglichen Blues verinnerlicht. Die Sängerin und Gitarristin sorgte zunächst als Frontfrau der in New Orleans beheimateten Band “Mama’s Boys” für Furore; ihr 2017 “Let the Demon Out“ sowie in 2019 “Mississippi Blend” Albums (Ruf Records), festigte ihren Ruf als Ausnahmetalent. Aktuelle Neu Album „One Woman Band“2021 Ghalia lebt seit diverse Jahre in New Orleans, Louisiana. **************************************************************************
